当地时间 7 月 4 日，美国总统特朗普签署税收和支出法案，使其生效。此前当地时间 6 月 30 日，马斯克连发数十条帖文，称那些支持该法案的议员应该感到羞愧，并表示，如果法案通过，第二天就会成立「美国党」。
